“Tongue Waltz” is a puzzle piece diagram made for pediatric speech pathology. There are 7 different tongue pieces included: a rest position for comparison, and one for each approximant sound (L, R, W, Y) and nasal sound (N, NG). Through collaborative research and several prototype iterations, this object can make speech exercises feel like a fun activity and ease frustration by providing a clear and accurate tongue position.
